This encyclopedia, under one cover, contains information about almost all of Dostoevsky’s works and heroes, the people surrounding the writer, and concepts one way or another connected with his name. The material is informative and as objective as possible. The publication contains 150 illustrations, is written in popular language and is addressed to a wide range of readers. The encyclopedia “Dostoevsky” by N. Nasedkin was first published by the Moscow publishing house “Algorithm” in 2003, was republished by the book holding “Eksmo” in 2008, and translated into foreign languages. On the cover is a fragment of V. G. Perov’s painting “F. M. Dostoevsky" (1872).
The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program.
