Історія юної Реції та благородного Саді сповнена емоцій, пристрасті та складних виборів. Автор майстерно описує не лише романтичні перипетії, але й соціальні та політичні реалії того часу, що робить сюжет ще більш захоплюючим. Персонажі дуже добре прописані, і їхні переживання відчуваються настільки реальними, що неможливо не співпереживати їм. Хоча переклад тексту іноді має незначні недоліки, це не заважає насолоджуватися історією. Книга спонукає задуматися про цінність справжнього кохання та про те, як важливо залишатися вірним своїм почуттям, незважаючи на всі труднощі.
