After a stroke, eighty-five-year-old Dolors is forced to live with her youngest daughter. She can no longer speak, but for some reason the household unanimously decided that along with her speech, grandmother had lost her hearing, and at the same time the ability to reason sensibly. Which is completely untrue - Dolors perfectly hears everything that young people, accustomed to not paying any attention to her presence, are talking about among themselves, and learns many other people’s secrets. The trouble is that she cannot intervene in the conflicts that are tearing apart an apparently prosperous family from within, and cannot help with advice to those she loves. But Dolors is still capable of something, and she begins to knit a sweater for her granddaughter. The back, the front, the sleeves...
