More than half a century has passed since the end of World War II, but many topics related to this war are shrouded in mystery. Among them is the history of Lend-Lease, the assistance that the United States provided to the countries of the anti-Hitler coalition. In the book brought to the attention of the reader, for the first time in Russian, the work of Edward Stettinius, who was responsible for organizing Lend-Lease, is published, as well as the opinions of modern historians on the role of Lend-Lease in the Great Patriotic War. The original book was published in 1944. The additional one is quite interesting material given at the end of the book.
