Waves of serial murders are sweeping across St. Petersburg. People die in the “death lottery,” an online game of “guessing” what is supposedly the next accident, but their deaths are always staged for the sake of money. In addition, the corpses of young women with their stomachs torn open are discovered. According to the “handwriting”, these are the crimes of another maniac and pervert. A former journalist, but now a city deputy who has received the right to work with the police, begins to fight the nonhumans. Brave and resourceful, he organizes the search for killers, pursues them and carries out retribution. The emerging romantic relationship with an investigative officer aggravates the ending when the woman gets into trouble. The hero also has to confront the police chief, a former criminal and “werewolf in uniform”, who seeks to become the head of the city police.
