Conversations with Konstantin Sergeevich Stanislavsky were recorded between 1918 and 1922 in the studio of the Bolshoi Theater by his student Cora Antarova, a famous opera singer. This is a collection of sayings, thoughts and instructions of the theater maestro, which he shared with his students. Antarova tried to most accurately convey the atmosphere that reigned in the classes - the atmosphere of universal love for art, openness, warmth and mutual respect. Through the statements of Konstantin Sergeevich, his attitude towards the theater, the actor, the viewer and everything that surrounded him is revealed.
