This collection is compiled from the author’s early articles, written during a time of active scientific activity at the turn of the 2000s. Work at the Maloyaroslavets Military History Museum in 1812 required the development of a scientific base for the preparation of excursions, lessons, newspaper and magazine articles, scientific papers and popular science publications. In those years, a dissertation was written on the historical geography of Maloyaroslavets district in the 15th–18th centuries, and dozens of articles were prepared for scientific collections and chapters for several popular books on the history of the city. Having now reviewed the proposed materials, the author admitted to herself that she was not ashamed of the work done; the historical sources, then introduced into scientific circulation, were never fully used. You can invite inquisitive contemporaries to use ready-made results. Perhaps they will turn out to be promising in terms of the wealth of surviving sources for both microhistory and geopolitical research.
