When the daughter of the head of the German language department of a provincial Russian university, confused in her teenage problems, leaves home for a night with dubious friends, a desperate father turns for help to his forgotten school friend, leading a life on the shadow side of the law. The result of the reunion of classmates is the creation of a controlled reality - a new and unorthodox pedagogical approach to raising their offspring in the hope of regaining the lost connection with them. The eternal problem of fathers and children comes to a standstill only when fathers risk changing themselves and finding themselves lost in the labyrinths of images, roles and expectations of others.
