“Project Vector” is a secret organization engaged in the study of time and an attempt to transfer people’s psychomatrices into historical figures of the past. In it, an elderly historian and specialist in the late 19th century, Mikhail Konyaev, is preparing to infiltrate Tsarevich Alexander, the future Alexander III. But as a result of an unexpected natural disaster, a temporal storm, another disaster occurs - a man-made one. And several people are already sent into the past: one ends up in the body of Grand Duke Mikhail Nikolaevich, the second - in his son Alexander Mikhailovich. And this happens at the moment when Stepan Khalturin activates explosives in the Winter Palace. History has gone off track.
