Tchaikovsky, People's Artist of Russia, professor of the Moscow Conservatory. A student of the great teacher K.N. Igumnov, Naum Shtarkman was a favorite of the public in our country and around the world. However, his relationship with the Soviet government was complicated, and his fate was dramatic. The book was written largely from the words of N.L. himself. Shtarkman as a result of conversations the author had with him in 1998.
