The sensational book by American journalist Scott Ritter tells the story of the conclusion and fulfillment of obligations under the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF Treaty). The long-term struggle for peace and disarmament reached its climax in the late 1980s and coincided with the time of global changes in the USSR - Perestroika.
