The series of electronic books was prepared by the Chelyabinsk Regional Universal Scientific Library and was the result of a project to digitize a collection of more than 500 letters, postcards and fragments of diaries of South Urals participants in the Great Patriotic War. Materials for the book “Field mail - Southern Urals. City of Kyshtym" provided by the Central City Library named after. B. E. Shveikina, Kyshtym. Through the destinies of individual people, the publication of letters from the front becomes a documentary evidence of the era, a kind of epistolary heritage. The book is addressed to a wide range of readers.
