The distant future. After centuries of expansion of human conquest of space, it was able to take a leading place in the Galaxy, although it was divided into thousands, if not millions of disparate states. In this field of ongoing conflicts, an ordinary, unremarkable team of salvagers tried to earn their living by sawing up the wreckage of ships of bygone times.
