Maria Semyonova is a great master who has spoken her resounding word in Russian literature. She created her own “quasi-Slavic” world, earning the gratitude and sincere admiration of millions of readers. She is the author of “Swan Road”, “Duel with the Serpent”, “Where the Forest Does Not Grow”, “Valkyrie”, “Sword of the Dead” and many other novels. The most famous of them, “The Wolfhound,” has become a reference book for many, which they re-read and take with them on the road, like a piece of their home. However, “the last of the Gray Dogs” would not have been born without his nameless alter ego, Vyatichi or Krivich, the hero of the popular encyclopedia “We are Slavs!” According to the writer, both of these books were created in parallel. Thus, the great myth-maker Maria Semyonova dispelled the myth that our ancestors silently sunk into oblivion. The memory of them is covered with the dust of centuries and archives, nevertheless, there is enough information for more than one volume.

Strictly speaking, the encyclopedia cannot be considered the results of scientific research, primarily because of the emotional, lively presentation - but, Maybe this is what the reader will remember the book for?
