1984. The arms race has brought the planet to the brink of nuclear self-destruction. Two superpowers are racing towards the abyss. But in distant orbit a spaceship appears from the distant descendants of the ancient Cretans, who colonized thousands of star systems and were ahead of earthlings by a couple of thousand years. They need to occupy the planet without allowing the destruction of its biosphere. They decide to interfere in the politics of earthlings and they succeed.
