It is an abnormally hot spring in 2018 in Germany. Tanya Arnheim, the protagonist of Leif Randt's (b. 1983) new book, turns thirty in a few weeks. Her debut novel became a cult classic; she looks out the window at Berlin's Hare Heath park and waits for fiery ideas for a new book. Her friend, successful web designer Jerome Daimler, lives in Maintal near Frankfurt in his parents' bungalow and tries to understand his life as a spiritual path. Their long-distance relationship seems flawless. They keep in constant contact through words and pictures and sometimes visit each other in their different worlds on weekends. Jogging in a nature reserve, meditation in provincial Maintal, active communication and sexually oriented adventures in Berlin... Jerome and Tanya are open to each other, and at the same time, each of them remains themselves. They seem protected from the suffering that their parents, boyfriends and girlfriends admit to. However, the desire to maintain a connection free from pain and boredom becomes a serious test for them.
