The everyday world is the sphere of work routine, conversations with friends and reading the news. Sociology studies how everyday events fit together to form a natural social order. However, the everyday world of modern man is no longer as stable and stable as sociologists are used to thinking: increasing mobility, the expansion of gadgets, the mixing of distant and close, familiar and alien, force researchers to look for answers at the intersection of different worlds - everyday life, art, technology, science and law . To re-raise the question of the nature of the natural social order, the author of “The Case of Everyday Life” takes readers into the courtroom, using judicial precedents from different countries and different eras as illustrative material.
