An attempt to briefly review the topic “Man in Space for 60 years”, including background, was made by the editor-in-chief of the social and educational Internet portal “Space Workers” Vitaly Kazharsky. This path was traveled together with the creators and participants of cosmic history, using their testimonies and memories posted in the media, the Internet and other open sources. This is how the book turned out, the author-compiler of which is a graduate of the Military Engineering Academy named after N.E. Zhukovsky, Honorary Member of the Russian Academy of Cosmonautics named after K.E. Tsiolkovsky, in a popular and fascinating form, reflected the enormous achievements of Mankind in the exploration of outer space over the past years. Drawing on a large number of sources, the author-compiler includes in the narrative his impressions of the events he witnessed. The book may be of interest to readers interested in issues of scientific and technological progress in the World, and can also be used for educational purposes in educational institutions.
