The next book in the series includes two novels about important events in the life of the great poet. A novel by the famous Soviet writer S.N. Sergeev-Tsensky (1875–1958), published in 1933, is dedicated to the story of Pushkin’s acquaintance and marriage to Natalya Nikolaevna Goncharova. A novel by the Russian futurist poet V.V. Kamensky (1884–1961), published in 1928, tells the story of the events leading to the tragic duel between the great Russian poet Alexander Pushkin and Lieutenant Baron Georges de Heckern-Dantes.
