This book is a collection of annotated scientific translations of three versions of the classic story of Hayy ibn Yaqzan, owned by Ibn Sina, al-Suhrawardi and Ibn Tufail. They present three different views of medieval Islamic philosophers on who a person is. The influence of these writings was not limited exclusively to the Muslim world, but also extended to European literature. There is also a version of this story written in Hebrew. This publication is equipped with a scientific preface and analytical articles given in the appendix.
