The dilogy of the famous Soviet writer I. A. Novikov (1877–1959) “Pushkin in Exile”, consisting of two novels “Pushkin in the South” and “Pushkin in Mikhailovsky”, is dedicated to two periods in the poet’s life - the southern and Pskov exiles .
