In April 2014, the Panamanian police received a report of the disappearance of two girls from the Netherlands, Chris Cremers and Lisanne Fron, who went for a walk along the popular tourist route “El Pianista Trail”. Despite an extensive search, the remains of their bodies were not found until several months later, and the discovered evidence provoked many theories regarding their mysterious death. Investigators were shocked by the pictures in Lissan's camera, found along with other things in the backpack. It contained 133 photographs taken between April 1 and April 8, and the former head of the Dutch investigative team, Frank van de Goth, called the night photographs “ominous” and compared them to a horror film.
