In the 15th and 16th centuries, Europe was engulfed in the sacred flames of the Inquisition. Tens of thousands of innocent men, women and children were executed on charges of witchcraft and conspiracy with the devil. However, no matter what historians say, no matter how much they deny the presence of witchcraft and evil spirits, not all these accusations were fictitious... This story took place in 1536, in the southeast of Germany, in a place called Dogindorf. The story is so terrible and tragic, full of mysticism and witchcraft, that the wandering monks Raymond and Paludanus considered it their duty to put it on paper. Unfortunately, only part of the manuscript has survived to this day and many episodes, as well as the details of the end of the story, are not known for certain. But we know how it began...
