In the seventies of the twentieth century, an active technological object was discovered in the orbit of Pluto and the space race flared up with renewed vigor. Nuclear pulse ships were created that managed to reach the outskirts of the solar system and activate the object, which turned out to be a portal leading to other stars. However, behind the passage was the powerful Empire of a Billion Stars, which considered the Milky Way to be its possession. A war began between earthlings and space invaders. 2001. The Soviet Union and the United States with their satellites are waging war against a common enemy. The Earth is clearly losing, but the USSR sends a small group of fighters to the outskirts of the Orion Arm to open a mysterious object, clearly created by aliens. Most of the soldiers and all the officers die during the descent to the planet, and the survivors decided to try, no matter what, to carry out the order and find out what the mysterious pyramids hide.
