The book by Samara researchers is the third in the ongoing series “Modern Myths of the Volga Region” and is devoted to the analysis of the role of “stories about the unusual” in the everyday life of a large industrial city, the history of the development of modern ideas about the possibility of interference by “others” in the development of human civilization.
