The near future. Under the influence of political and economic crises, Europe disintegrated into countless tiny states, monarchies, polities and republics. In this new world of endless borders and new laws, Rudy works for a strange secret organization, Les Coureurs des Bois. His life is a series of small states, an endless change of masks and passports, behind which his own personality begins to be erased. But on the next mission, everything goes wrong: Rudy is assigned to take one person out of Berlin, but upon arriving at the place, he finds only his severed head in the hotel room. The noose of persecution and paranoia begins to tighten around Rudy, but behind the endless conflicts, behind the ever-changing political map, the silhouette of a truly terrible conspiracy begins to emerge, which will turn not only the life of the protagonist, but also the entire territory once known as Europe. This is how a real nightmare begins, in which you cannot trust not only people, but even reality itself, because perhaps it too is changing.
