Between the years when the oceans swallowed up Atlantis with its glittering cities and the years of the accession to the throne of the sons of Arius, there was an era that had never been dreamed of. At that time the shining kingdoms: Aquilonia, Nemedia, Ophir, Koth, Corinthia, Argos, Turan, Zingara, lay spread out widely over the world, like blue robes under the stars. During this era lived the greatest warrior in history. Black-haired, with gloomy blue eyes, a sword in his hand. He came to trample under foot the precious thrones of the earth. His family was harsh Cimmeria and the name of this hero was CONAN THE BARBARIAN

Long ago, during the time of ancient Acheron, the magician from Corinthia Dion created a powerful artifact - a rainbow seven-color box, which he presented to a sign of his love to the queen of Acheron, Armida. But she preferred someone else. The box had incredible magical power, but could not bestow love... Over time, the Box disappeared to appear already in the time of Conan the Cimmerian. The arrogant Lord Kett, lord of the Toprakkalle fortress, cursed the powerful goddess Anahite for the death of his beloved wife and was blinded by her with His castle with the help of witchcraft was taken over by the former doctor Nar-Dost, who over time began a magical transformation into an unknown terrifying creature. One of the secret conclaves of sorcerers in Corinthia - the Rainbow Square - seeks to take control of the difficult situation in the region. Meanwhile, Conan, after the events described in the novel by Steve Perry, published in Russian under the title “Conan Challenges”, continues his journey to Zamora. It would not be amiss to note that the novel “Conan and the Blind Goddess” (Conan a slepá bohyně), published in the Czech Republic by the author with the pseudonym “Leon da Costa” (Leon da Costa), is a successfully stylized continuation of this particular novel. At the same time, the Czech author used approaches from Perry’s novels “Conan and the Four Elements” and “Conan Challenges”, but not from “Conan and the Caves Lords”. At the same time, the chronologically continuous events of the novel “Conan and the Blind Goddess” could have taken place even after "Lords of the Cave", but the author briefly mentions only the heroes of the novel "Conan Challenges". The text is intended for non-commercial informational use. The text was not published in Russian in printed form. Along with the novels Conan the Merciless (Conan nelítostný) by Turlof Larssen (pseudonym of Yuri Chervinek) and Conan: The Third Step into the Abyss (Conan: Třetí krok do hlubin) by Jeremy Fielder, published in the Czech Republic (pseudonym of Jaroslav A. Polak) the work “Conan and the Blind Goddess” is one of the most interesting, successfully combining magical and adventure attributes of fantasy. This novel, unknown to most readers in Russian and telling about a brief episode of the barbarian’s youth and his first impressions of civilization, should not disappoint fans of the barbarian’s adventures.
