An ordinary young man named George makes an unusual discovery. Thanks to him, every person will be able to gain extraordinary abilities and use them at their own discretion. The protagonist's friend and ally offers to use this new knowledge for his own benefit. But Georgy doubts that this will bring benefit to humanity and wants to forget about the perfect scientific breakthrough. Their disagreements and desperate attempts to prove to each other that they are right lead to unpredictable and far-reaching consequences. The Latin word "controversia", used in the title, is translated as "dispute", "disagreement", which is the plot of this work.
