Books have been written, documentaries and feature films have been made about the first, most heroic period of liquidation work at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in 1986. Almost nothing is known about the second, less heroic, period of liquidation work at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in 1987. My book is intended to fill this gap in the chronicle of liquidation of the consequences of the disaster at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. In my book I write about what no one has yet decided to say out loud. I am writing about the deliberate policy of genocide carried out by the leaders of liquidation work, from among the senior and senior command staff of the Soviet Army, against people involved in work in zones of radioactive contamination - none of those with whom I had to go to the Chernobyl nuclear power plant at the same time, long since dead.
