Nazi concentration camps are one of the most tragic pages in human history. The women's concentration camp Ravensbrück, over time, turned into a camp complex consisting of male and female sections, the Uckermark youth camp, performed two main functions - the destruction and exploitation of prisoners. The book discusses the history of the creation and functioning of the concentration camp and its branches, various categories of prisoners - political, criminal, asocial and racially motivated prisoners, the daily life of prisoners and their exploitation inside the camp, in SS enterprises and private firms.
