Once upon a time, colleagues from TV-3 for the upcoming premiere of “Gogol. Terrible Revenge” decided to write a story, inspired by the author’s works. But in order for the style of the story to resemble the classic, it was necessary to involve technology. Specialists from the machine intelligence and research department of Yandex created a neural network, which they first trained on more than 30 thousand books of Russian prose, and then separately trained it on Gogol. As a result, she learned to “create” entire paragraphs of text in the style of Nikolai Vasilyevich. The resulting neural network was applied to the plot outline of the future story written by Sergei Lukyanenko, which thanks to this acquired details and even received new plot moves. Read the story and watch it in cinemas from August 30, 2018. “Gogol. Terrible revenge." The neural network spelling has been preserved.
