This is a new book on search games. As you already know, our dogs are natural sniffers. Smells play an extremely important role for them. Therefore, their nose is always at work. In the book of the German trainer Ursula Gauhart, a new task for your dog’s nose is described: find a tiny object by its natural smell and point to it in an unusual way: by “sticking” to the place where this object is hidden. First, the author explains in detail on how to use clicker training to teach your dog the pointing signal. This will require patience and precision from you and your dog. But that is not all! To find an object by the tiny amount of particles of the smell it emits, you need to become a real master of scent! After you master the PoSo technique, a wide road into the world of smells will open up for you! About the author Urzula Gauhat - zoopsychologist, former dog handler for service dog breeding in Germany. Urzula also trained dogs to participate in various sports. Urzula is the co-founder of the new search sport PoSo. As a member of the Polydog Commission of the Swiss Cynological Society (Kommision Polydog der KSG), she is actively involved in the further development of this sport and its dissemination. The book is published in Russian for the first time.
