In modern society, dogs play many important roles. Many dogs, at best, lose interest in work, and at worst, lose their lives. Anders Hallgren's methods, on the contrary, completely exclude violence and are based on a deep understanding of the needs of dogs and the reasons for changes in drive and motivation.

In this book you will learn about the physiology of drive, factors influencing drive and motivation, and selection methods working dogs and the impact of stress on learning and working processes. Particular attention is paid to the basics of canine ethology (social behavior, communication), the psychology of animal training (selection of the most effective training methods) and problem analysis (identifying health problems and handler errors).
