Wilhelm is at the center of a three-part story. He is a figure out of time. In his place once stood a greedy ruler, an inspired poet understands him, and in the distant future a brave soldier recognizes himself in him. The same problem comes in different eras. War. A terrible word, behind which there are even more terrifying events, broken destinies, dreams and hopes of people. But the war does not change. It's just perceived differently. The basis for the story was the song “The Oh Hellos - Soldier, Poet, King.”
