Zhenya is a big little girl. On the one hand, she is the youngest in the family, even her beloved dachshund Vetka, and on the other hand, to braid her hair, her mother has to stand on a stool every morning. In general, Zhenya is exactly the same as all the other seven-year-old girls. She hates being looked at or considered special. She knows how to peel potatoes so that the skin turns into thin long ribbons. He knows how to sew on buttons - almost as beautifully as dad. She’s also great at telling different stories - because something interesting happens to her all the time... In the fourth book, “Seven and a Half Crocodile Smiles,” Zhenya finally goes to first grade. She had long dreamed of how she would put on a big beautiful bow, meet a cheerful teacher and quickly make friends with her desk neighbor... But for some reason everything didn’t work out right away. The day before, Zhenya was taken to the dentist, and she lost all her crocodile smiles. And on the first of September she discovered that not only her desk, but the whole school was SMALL. What should we do now? Maybe my best friend Mishka, as always, will come up with something?.. Maria Bershadskaya’s books about a big little girl tell about Zhenya, who stretched taller than the tallest basketball player in the world, and about how great and how difficult it is to be different from others. Over the course of twelve books, Zhenya is still growing - she is changing, maturing. Dad tells her that every person, even if he has already grown up, still has some kind of INNER GROWTH. It is not yet clear to my wife what needs to be done for this growth that is inside. Walk in the rain? To sing songs? Any useful stuff? We also haven’t realized this yet, but maybe after reading these twelve stories, we will also grow a little? The publishing design is preserved in pdf A4 format.
