Lev Abramovich Osterman (October 20, 1923—November 15, 2009) - biochemist, writer, author of scientific articles and monographs, including classic manuals on physical and chemical methods in biological research. He is also the author of books on the history of the ancient world “Oh, Solon!”, “Roman History in Persons”, an autobiographical book “Against the Tide” and several books on the history of Soviet society.
