The book provides eyewitness accounts of the negotiations that took place in 1995 in the American city of Dayton and put an end to the civil war in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the first stage of the Yugoslav crisis (1991-2001). The peace concluded at Dayton was an important milestone for the Serbs, Croats and Bosniaks (Bosnian Muslims), for the post-Yugoslav states, the entire Balkan region, Europe and the world as a whole. The book is a valuable source for understanding the position of the leadership of the FRY/Serbia during that period and the complex processes that influenced the formation of the new international security system.
