The book is devoted to the analysis of religious, ideological and sociocultural aspects of the Christianization of early medieval Rus'. The general issues of studying mass religiosity, the history of research in the field of Russian religious antiquities and the main problems of interaction between Christianity and pagan beliefs in the 9th–11th centuries are considered.
