Dmitry Petrovich Shestakov (1869–1937) during his lifetime was known as a classical philologist, translator and critic, although his first poetic experiments were approved by A. A. Fet. The book collects as comprehensively as possible his original poetic legacy, including the most significant part - poems from 1925–1934, published only many decades after the author’s death. The publication is based on materials from the Russian State Library and Russian State Archive of Literature. About 200 poems are published for the first time. Compilation and afterword by V. E. Molodyakov
