In the mid and late 90s, Moscow rappers united into clans and “WHITE SMOKE” was the most famous and powerful of them. “Smokey” were known not only for their Kangol caps, but primarily for their battles with far-right groups such as OB-88, White Bulldogs and famous companies of football fans. Many people associate WSC with crime. And indeed, some “Smokeys” were convicted, served the sentences assigned to them by the courts and were recently released. At the moment, there is an association of rappers from the remnants of the White Smoke Clan and other clans, called the White Smoke Community. It is these people who will tell the whole truth about that “troubled” time, for the first time lifting the veil of secrecy and filling in the blank spots in the history of W.S.C., and the entire Moscow rap movement.
