Is it good or bad to be a witch? — Vasilisa is forced to ask herself this question. A girl lives in a small town in the Thirtieth Kingdom with her stepmother and her daughters, misses her missing father, feels incompetent - the handicrafts on which the family lives are falling out of her hands, and on top of that, her family begins to suspect that she knows firsthand with enchantment and the evil eye. But soon Vasilisa will have to learn a lot about real witches and witchcraft - and about needlework too.
