Not everyone is given the opportunity to know which day will be the last in our lives. But Lucio Battistini, a 40-year-old water polo coach who lives in Rome with his wife Paola and two children, knows exactly the date of his death. Moreover, he prescribed it himself when he was diagnosed with liver cancer, which he ironically nicknamed “friend Fritz.”
