John Galsway (1867–1933) is an English novelist and playwright, winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature (1932). “The Chronicles of the Forsyte Family” is the story of a family clan of representatives of the big bourgeoisie, in whose destinies, as in a mirror, was reflected the fate of England itself at the turning point of the late 19th - early 20th centuries.
