This year, 2015, the group “Melnitsa”, known to many, and not only domestic, music lovers, celebrates its 15th anniversary of creative activity. Surprisingly, not a single book has been published about this musical group, which has been a recognized leader in the folk-rock genre for a decade[1], and even journalistic articles are rare. Perhaps all information about the group is deeply hidden or its members object against any publications? No, both on the official website of the group, and on the many music sites open to any interested fan, and even on Wikipedia, information about the group and its permanent leader - Natalya Andreevna O'Shea, better known by one of the pseudonyms it uses - Helavisa , would be enough for more than one book. The lyrics are also absolutely accessible. Meanwhile, Natalya Andreevna is not only a singer, musician, translator, but also the author of several fantasy works. I hope that this modest collection, compiled exclusively from open information sources, will at least partially correct this gap. All rights to the lyrics, literary and journalistic materials belong to their authors, primarily Natalia O'Shea. The compiler of this unofficial collection in no way claims any authorship, but only wants, without any selfish interest, to help the fans of the group and Helavis will get acquainted with their work, and the group and its “Queen” Helavis will achieve even greater popularity.
