I have been keeping Laikas for many years, one might say, all my life. I was hunting. In those days, a hunter in Siberia was a respected person - not like now. And that’s to say: a Siberian hunter extracted valuable furs in the taiga and handed them over to the state. The state sold this very fur at the Leningrad auction for foreign currency. That's why they respected him. I took Ulyushka from a hunter friend when she was just a month old. The owner was in a hurry. The little dog turned out to be smart, fighting, but very independent. She and I have suffered through enough. But, no matter what, Ulyushka was our favorite. What can I say, everyone loved her, such a Skoda!
