The great Marduk gave the divine gift of “eternal youth” to a mortal woman. The beautiful princess from the Egyptian city of Sais did not want to grow old. She considered herself the incarnation of Hathor, the goddess of youth and beauty. Marduk's gift allowed her to "feed" on the vital energy of men during intimacy and preserve her youth. Lovers lost their lives in the process, and the beauty of the princess was the guarantee that she always remained desirable. She traveled to different cities and countries for more than three hundred years, and even temporarily won the favor of the Persian king Artaxerxes. Then she was called Ada, queen of Caria. But a powerful magician, the high priest of Marduk from Babylon, wanted to take away the gift of “eternity” from the beauty. Ada could not resist the priest alone and was forced to call upon Lamashtu, one of the seven demons who served the goddess Allat, the mistress of the kingdom of the dead.
