Partials are artificially created organic creatures identical to humans. Because of the war with them, humanity was on the verge of extinction. In the United States, only a few tens of thousands of people remained alive, who settled on Long Island. The Partials mysteriously disappeared, but could return at any moment. 16-year-old Kira, an intern, discovers that the survival of both people and Partials , depends on whether it will be possible to explain the connection that exists between them, which people have forgotten about, and perhaps were not even aware of.
