New Year. The main character, a doctor, a neurosurgeon, is having a hard time going through a divorce and the inability to communicate with loved ones. Even problems at work and the risk of dismissal do not bring him to his senses. But what is happening outside the windows of his rented apartment, strange ghosts and strange events, in an incredible and also strange way return the doctor to a normal state - a man of action. Siberia. Cold winter. Sounds freeze in the air and become ice. Moving along the snowy streets, the doctor recalls his life in reality and almost narcotic dreams. Perhaps this gives him a chance to gain strength in the fight against the terrible world around him. Gradually, the story becomes more and more confusing and dead-end, one from which there is no way out. Or is there? But then the doctor must become a killer.
