Nuclear winter is one of the most severe consequences of the Third World War. The story tells about the residents of the village who settled in the military subway. Despite the extreme difficulty of survival and the utmost strain of spirit, people remain themselves. Some really break down, plunge into an animal state of horror and strive to live at any cost, losing their human appearance. Others lack this; their worldview also includes other concepts - comfort, power, consistency. But there are others... For such people, life is not valuable in itself, and they are ready to waste it and squander it. And if something touches their heart, they sacrifice themselves without hesitation.
