Sergei Valerievich Dobryakov was born in 1969 in Leningrad. He graduated from the Faculty of Philology of St. Petersburg State University, then graduated from graduate school at the Institute of Literature (Pushkin House) of the Russian Academy of Sciences. He taught at Leningrad State University named after A.S. Pushkin and was engaged in scientific work. Has publications related to the study of the creativity of N.S. Leskov, K.N. Leontyeva, A.A. Feta, I.S. Turgeneva, A.A. Grigorieva. In recent years, I have also become interested in literary creativity. The main theme of the plays and stories included in the collection “Fates in Tango Mode” is human self-determination in different historical eras, among both ordinary and difficult circumstances.
